News - RELAY new piece in Norwich Britten Sinfonia recitals

Join ensembles of musicians from Britten Sinfonia in Norwich on Wednesday 4th July 2012 as they play a range of music including a piece by Norfolk-based composer, Jane Wells, specially commissioned to celebrate the Olympic Torch Rely in the city.

12.30pm The Guildhall (Sword Room) - Solo Cello

12.30pm, 2.30pm Church of St Peter Mancroft - Brass Quintet

1pm, 2pm, 3pm, Country and Eastern (Old Skating Rink Gallery) - Violin and Tabla

1.30pm, 3pm The Assembly Rooms - String Quartet

2pm Strangers' Hall Museum - Brass Duo

Jane's piece will be included in full at the Assembly Rooms (string quartet version) and St Peter Mancroft (brass quartet version) with short extracts/musings included in the duo and solo short recitals.

If you wish to attend all five recitals try 12.30pm Guildhall, 1pm Country and Eastern, 2pm Strangers Hall, 2.30pm St Peter Mancroft and 3pm Assembly Rooms.  Recitals last up to 25 minutes and all admission is FREE.
